History

The Healing Tree Performing Arts Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit bridging arts education and therapy within a conservatory-style model.

Our Roots: Founded by Elena Correia—an internationally recognized vocalist, educator, and parent of a child on the autism spectrum—the organization blends professional expertise with lived experience.

Our Purpose: We address a critical need for accessible, inclusive, and arts-centered programming that empowers individuals with Autism and diverse support needs, while strengthening and supporting the families who care for them.

Our Growth: What began as a local vision has evolved into a scalable, comprehensive program serving communities across South Florida and Southern California, with the capacity to expand nationwide.

Use of Contributions: Contributions will be used to develop and operate educational and charitable programs, provide scholarships and financial assistance, support performances and community events, acquire program materials and adaptive resources, compensate qualified instructors and service providers, and advance the organization's charitable mission.

Our Mission
